Coverwell

Terms of use

Effective October 10, 2026

The short version

  • Coverwell gives information about deadlines and consumer rights, not legal advice.
  • Your data stays on your iPhone, so keeping a backup or an export is up to you.
  • Coverwell Pro is a one-time purchase through Apple. No subscription.
  • Nothing here takes away the rights you have as a consumer.

These terms cover the Coverwell app for iPhone. The app is made by Slend Software FZE-LLC ("Slend"), called "the developer" below. By using Coverwell you agree to these terms.

Your licence

Coverwell is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add to it. If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA applies.

Information, not legal advice

Coverwell works out return windows, warranties, legal guarantees and withdrawal or cancellation periods from what you enter and from a table of rules for each country. It also drafts claim letters. All of this is general information, not legal advice, and not a promise that a shop, manufacturer or insurer will accept a claim.

Your data

Everything you add is stored only on your iPhone (see the privacy policy). The developer can't see, recover or restore it. If you delete the app or lose your device without a backup, your data is gone. Use your iPhone's backups, or Settings › Your data › Export everything in the app, to keep a copy.

Reminders are delivered by iOS. They can be delayed or missed, for example when notifications are turned off, so don't rely on a reminder alone for a deadline that matters.

Coverwell Pro

Coverwell is free for up to 10 items and 1 claim kit, with all reminders and the full export. Coverwell Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited items, unlimited claim kits and the inventory report. It is not a subscription and doesn't renew.

Using Coverwell fairly

Use Coverwell for your own purchases and lawful claims. Don't use it to make claims you know are false, or to create documents meant to mislead a shop, manufacturer or insurer.

Changes to the app

The developer may update Coverwell, change or remove features, or stop offering it. Features you bought with Pro will keep working in the version of the app you have installed.

Liability

The app is provided as described in the Standard EULA. As far as the law allows, the developer isn't liable for a missed deadline, a rejected claim, or a loss that comes from relying on the app's information.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live, or the developer's liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
